ADHD Coaching Tip - Still 3 More One-Way Tickets To Failure With ADHD
ADHD coaching can help you define success and implement personalized strategies that will sky-rocket your possibilities to succeed, regardless of what \"succeed\" means for you.
Success all depends upon how you define it. It can be personal, financial, career oriented, relationship oriented, or anything else you want. But most of all, ADHD coaching is about helping you or a loved avoid strategies and lifestyle choices that will set you up for continued struggling or ongoing failure.
Here are three more \"one-way\" tickets all but guaranteed to hold you back from accomplishing what you want.
1. Keep doing what you are doing.
If you are not finding success, in whatever area of life you are seeking to improve, the one thing I urge you to consider is trying new things. Ask yourself, \"What do I continue to do that is not helping me find success?\"
Another way to understand this failure method would be to avoid trying new things. If you realize that what you are doing is not helping you, but you continue to do the same things, you are ensuring your ongoing failure. So if you want to achieve the same results, don\'t try new things. That is the most effective way to ensure you keep increasing your stress level and reaching frustration over and over again.
2. Give up easily.
Go ahead, just throw up your hands and admit defeat now. Change and reaching success both take a great amount of time. Just how much time? There is no definitive answer, and no set time table of where it happens. It will depend on each individual person, and on what you are looking for in terms of success. Furthermore, it will all depend upon what resources you have available and how efficient you are at getting things done.
You might not like to hear this, but there is no guaranteed formula for success. And quite frankly, you need to fail quite a bit before you truly find success. Depending upon what interests you, success can be totally unrelated to previous success. There are no guarantees.
3. Follow other failures.
Another great way to fail at something, would be to mimic and take lessons from other failures, or in this case from other people who rely on some of the tactics reviewed in this article. It\'s far easier to just listen to anyone, and not learn from their mistakes. It\'s easier, and far more convenient to just blindly follow people who say or think they have the answers, when in reality they offer you no benefit at all.
If you are into taking advice and following suggestions of anyone, and everyone, then rest assured that you will continue to struggle for quite some time. There are a lot of people who would rather see you fail, then see you succeed. Misery loves company, and people are more than happy to drag you down with them, then see you succeed as they continue to struggle.
In our fast paced world, there can be times when no one really cares about your problems or your success. It\'s not that they are mean or rude, rather they are just caught up in their own world. They face their own challenges, and might not truly understand your needs as someone struggling with ADHD.
And now I\'d like to offer you access to an almost 60-minute audio interview, http://www.adhdsuccessaudio.com, where one successful psychologist reveals his personal struggles and successes while managing his symptoms of ADHD for over 15 years.
