First, we have to remember that your business name needs to be a reflection of you and your business services. It should be descriptive, personal, maybe even catchy. Think about different names of busineses presently used like: Roly Poly (sandwiches), 2 Potato More (food), Chuck E. Cheese (Pizza), Bic (Pens), etc. So, take out a little extra time to ask yourself some of these questions below, and good luck...
Well, let's begin here....First, we need to have a number of questions answered before we can successfully create a great business name for YOU. (Below are a few brainstorming questions from my e-book)
What is your business about?
What do you want your name to say?
Will you want your business to grow beyond your current living area?
Do you want your name specific to your business or a general name to cover many areas?
Once you have answered these, create at least 20-30 different names that you may consider for Business. Note: Try not to get a name to similar to another. You could be confused by accident and if they have bad credit or questionable practices, negative assumptions could be made about you or your business.
Next, check with your State to determine if your name is available. You may also want to check smartbusinessreports.com to verify. You can check by state to see if your name is taken.
