Does Your Strategic Plan Work With Or Against The Law Of Attraction?
Turn on almost any television program you probably will hear at least one reference to the recent phenomena called the Law of Attraction. If you have read Napoleon Hill\'s Think and Grow Rich, you will know that the Law of Attraction is not really something new. However, it does beg to ask the question are you using this proven strategy within your strategic plan?
The core message within the Law of Attraction is about your thoughts and how you focus those thoughts through your daily behaviors. Strategic planning is about thoughts and how your focus those thoughts to out think and out last the competition. Therefore, logic seems to indicate that the Law of Attraction should be part of your strategic plan.
So where would you begin if you decide to include this dynamic law within your strategic plan? Start with your vision which is your thoughts about where you see your business in future. Imagine yourself attracting all those clients and realizing your ultimate goals.
Then look to crafting your values statement. To attract people means that your behaviors must be consistent and more importantly non-negotiable. People are attracted to positive acting and behaving individuals. Who truly wants to be around negative people?
Your mission statement comes next. What specific goals do you want to achieve from your attraction with others?
Now it is time to construct your critical goal categories. With all businesses, one of these is marketing. The Law of Attraction begins with marketing for without customers would you be in business?
Sales is another critical goal category because you need sales to pay your cost of goods and overhead costs. Again, attraction is necessary for the sale to be completed because people buy from people.
Take the time to review or if necessary write your strategic plan. Consider how The Law of Attraction can help you achieve your desired business results quicker and with greater levels of success. Remember, we receive what we believe and by changing our thoughts we can change our destiny.
