Numerology’s Effort Number - Where Your Passions In Life Are

Calculating your Effort Number

Your Effort number is calculated by taking the last (2) digits of your birth year (excluding the century digits) and subtracting (2). We then reduce the sum by using fadic addition to get either a single digit, or one of the master numbers (11 and 22) which we don't reduce.

Note that it is possible to have a negative result or zero if you were born in the years (2000) through (2002).

For example, actor Johnny Depp was born on June 9th, 1963; so his Effort number would be calculated as follows:

Effort Number = (63 - 2) = (61) = (6 + 1) = (7)

The Effort number values and their meanings are listed below.

Effort Number (-2)

You put your efforts and energy into avoiding close relationships with other people. You work at creating distance between yourself and others. You prefer to be alone with your thoughts, and don't really care how people feel about you. You see the negative side in people, not the positive. You also don't believe in putting time and energy into any form of psychic development.

Effort Number (-1)

You put your efforts and energy into avoiding acting alone. You will work at paring up with one or more people in whatever task you undertake. You avoid setting any personal goals for yourself, and are reluctant to allow others to set such goals for you. You constantly seek input from other people, and can not stand to be on your own in doing a task.

Effort Number (0)

You don't put your efforts and energy into any one type of task. You don't put your efforts and energy into any one kind of chore, more than another.

Effort Number (1)

You put your efforts and energy into task where you can do your own thing. You like to set your own goals and pursue them with dogged determination. You are happiest when you are left to your own devices, without others bothering you or commenting on your chosen task.

Effort Number (2)

You put your efforts and energy into task where you can share them with others. You enjoy working with people you like, and choose your task accordingly. You make a special effort with all your relationships to get people to like you. You see the good in everyone you work with. You also are very enthusiastic about your own psychic development.

Effort Number (3)

You put your efforts and energy into task where you can enjoy yourself and have a good time. You really work at entertaining both yourself and others. However, you tend to spoil the affect by trying to do too many things at once. You can be really creative in this area, but you lack the focus needed to finish what you start.

Effort Number (4)

You put your efforts and energy into task that are challenging and require hard work. You specifically devote your efforts towards task which are worthwhile either to you personally, or towards society as a whole. You do not waste your efforts on task that are frivolous or which have little value. You are willing to put effort into task where the payoff may be months or years away. Persistence is your watchword.

You put your efforts and energy into task that are unusual or different; the odder the better. You embrace excitement like a drug, and find that things with a little bit of danger to them fill a craving that you have. Trips to unusual destinations, and new and unusual activities draw you like a magnet. You hate task which are boring and humdrum. You will be young and reckless at heart throughout your lifetime.

You put your efforts and energy into task involving your home and family life. You love family oriented activities, and a comfortable evening at home. You put out real effort and are willing to make sacrifices for anything to do with your loved ones. You like to make your home beautiful and will devote effort to anything you feel is creative or comforting.

Effort Number (7)

You put your efforts and energy into task which will lead to spiritual growth. You like working by yourself to learn the deep mysteries of life, and to gain knowledge and wisdom. Other people will see your efforts and activities as being unusual and strange, but that doesn't bother you.

Effort Number (8)

You put your efforts and energy into task which will lead to making a lot of money. You like to be involved in large-scale business ventures. Your efforts go into planning and achieving task where the rewards are great. Selling things on a commission basis, or running your own business, are the kind of task that motivate you. You are also enthusiastic about spending money, especially on yourself.

Effort Number (9)

You put your efforts and energy into task which help other people, especially those in need. You are happiest when spending your efforts and energy in worthwhile causes. Your humanitarian efforts can go towards a broad spectrum of different endeavors, be it the environment, human rights, preventing animal cruelty, or helping the poor. Many of your friends and co-workers deeply admire your efforts.

You put your efforts and energy into task that are idealistic and often unpractical. You are happiest when working on worthy goals which can benefit mankind as a whole. You need to check your ideas with others to determine if they are practical enough to be effective.

You put your efforts and energy into task which are large scale projects which tend to benefit humanity in some way. You are truly the master builder, working tirelessly to achieve your worthwhile goals.
