Numerology\’s Soul Urge - Motivation And Desire From Your Name

The Motivation number has many names: Soul number, Soul Urge, Ambition, and Heart\'s Desire number to name a few. This number shows us what your desire from Life; what your dreams are. This value can change through out our lives, because it\'s dependent on the name we use.

Motivation Number Calculation

Your Motivation or Soul Urge number is calculated by summing the numeric values of the vowels in your name, and then reducing to a single digit with fadic addition. The following chart gives the number values for each of the vowel letters:

A = (1), E = (5), I = (9), O = (6), U = (3), and Y = (7)

For example, actor Johnny Depp has a Motivation number of (2) as shown below.

Johnny Depp = (O + E) = (6 + 5) = (11) = (1 + 1) = (2)

Note that \'Y\' is only used if a name has no other vowels present in a word; otherwise it is ignored.

Motivation (1) - Groundbreakers

People with this motivation number want to do something different and original. They want to lead and have their own way in life. They are great optimist about all of their plans in life. They hate waiting and want to start their projects as soon as their mind is made up. They have a flair for flamboyant, even risky plans as long as they are their own.

Motivation (2) - Followers

People with this motivation number want to be inspired and to work as part of a team effort. They are happy to follow someone else\'s lead. They like to work at a steady regular pace, in a comfortable environment with the support of others. They don\'t like working under pressure. They life for praise from others who work with them.

People with this motivation want to see everyone get a fair shake in life. They want to see justice for everyone, and to see people who break the rules punished. They want to help people, and tend to be perfectionist. These people also want a calm and peaceful home life for themselves.

Motivation (7) - Loners

People with this motivation want time alone with their thoughts. They hide their problems from other people to avoid having to talk about them. They hate taking advice from other people, and prefer to figure out their own problems. They tend to be drawn to the sea, or other locals where quite reflection comes naturally. They are born nature lovers, and despise people who don\'t show some respect for our environment.

People with this motivation are success driven. Whatever goals they set for themselves, they will succeed or die trying. They will strive for total independence, financial and otherwise. When they have met their own goals, they are happy to lend a helping hand to others. Failure at anything baffles and frustrates them.

Motivation (9) - Care Givers

People with this motivation love life and want life to love them in return. They are compassionate and understanding of others. They tend to spread themselves over a wide range of interest and causes. They tend to trust other people, probably too much for their own good. They like to travel and meet people. Humility is their watch word.
