Panic Attack Medication - 7 Reasons Why I Dislike Medication
There are many medications for panic attacks and anxiety. Millions of people take them regularly at the recommendation of their doctors. However, you will be hard pressed to find many users of these medications who have found happiness through them. Why is that? There are many reasons:
1. Although some medication users have managed to lower their level of general anxiety, they failed to find real comfort. In fact they have become slaves to their medication. Once they stop taking their medication they are doomed to fall prey to their former level of anxiety.
2. Medication often lose its power after a while as the body becomes accustomed to it. This necessitates finding another medication and starting all over again.
3. Medication cost a lot of money as you need to take it over and over again. You\'re also forced to go to the doctor to get more and more prescriptions.
4. Taking panic attacks and anxiety medication harms your reputation and may even prevent you from working at certain jobs.
5. Many of these medications may be addictive, so you\'re basically swapping one disease for another.
6. Many medications have nasty side effects such as trembling, shaking, headaches, reduced sex drive, and more.
7. The most important thing I dislike about medication is that it doesn\'t really cure anything; it merely quiets you down. Your goal should be to find a complete cure and this will only happen once you attack the root cause of what\'s troubling your psyche. This can only be done psychologically.
These are 7 reasons why I dislike panic attack medication. If you truly wish to cure your panic attacks, you should try somethig else. Many people have done this and are free of medication. You can do the same.
