Psoriasis Nutrition
People with psoriasis really need to pay attention to what they eat. Some types of food are triggering the inflammation in the body Such as:
Spicy food
Fried food
Red meat/ pork
Animal fat
Peppers, eggplant, white potato, tomato's
Any processed food
pizza
You might say: no way I am giving up on this and that, well if you won't then psoriasis won't leave your body and skin.
Or you might say: oh, no! That means I cannot eat anything. Wrong!!!
There are many foods you can eat, and they taste good. But before mentioning any type of foods, first there are 2 things to do:
1. Understand how the body works, and what exactly it needs in order to be strong and function well.
2. Understand what's in the food you are currently eating, how much fats, carbohydrates, calories. What are the unnatural ingredients of that product, and how will they effect you if consumed in large quantities
Once you understand those two important things you need to learn how to eat and when to eat.
You should drink a glass of ionized water half an hour before you eat, and a glass of ionized water half an hour after you eat, yes, that means not drinking during the meal
Fruits should be eaten by themselves 3 hours after the meal.
Do not mix carbohydrates and starch with proteins
It might sound too hard but once you adopt this way, it feels so right doing it.
The types of foods you should eat must contain plenty of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and good fats.
Basically you should eat fruits, vegetables, fish, legumes, and whole grains. A Healthy lifestyle results in a healthy body.
